Phantom Withdrawals from POSB/DBS

Have been seeing forums and facebook's wall statuses about money being withdrawn unknowingly since yesterday and apparently it's TRUE.

Please go update your bank-book / check your transactions via iBanking before you read on!!

Police are now investigating the cases of unauthorised withdrawals from both POSB & DBS Bank accounts. It's believe that the withdrawals are done in Malaysia. If you are one of the victims, please contact the bank immediately at 1800-220-1111 or visit any of the branches.. It's said that the investigations are under way and the banks will be validating all ATM/Debit card transactions made in Malaysia over the past few days. They will also alert customers if they detect any unusual activity found on their accounts
